Auditionees will be emailed exact location in mid-September. Rehearsals are M/W/Sun evenings and Sat afternoons. Performances are in Dinkelspiel in February, 2014.

You will be asked to sing a prepared piece of any style that shows your vocal ability and musicality (a classical selection is preferred), and also do some vocalizing and sight-reading. The audition lasts 10-12 minutes. An accompanist will be provided.

The Silicon Valley Symphony has gained the reputation as being one of the finest community orchestras in the Bay Area. SVS has immediate openings for brass (french horn, 1st trumpet, 3rd trumpet, 2nd trombone, tuba) and all strings. SVS rehearses in Palo Alto on Mondays from 7:30-10pm.
