Set in a modern English Village caught in fandom fever, sci-fi allusions and parodies of role playing abound as Gilbert & Sullivans satire of Victorian aestheticism spoofs todays trendy cosplay! If you're a Whovian or a Trekkie, you'll want to audition on 3/1-3/5.

We're looking for a few strings (esp. viola/cello/bass), oboe, bassoon, trombone. Play two short pieces or orchestral excerpts (no more than 3 min. each) of your choice, in contrasting mood/style/tempo, demonstrating technical facility on your instrument, expression and general musicianship. Sight-read one or two short easy-to-medium passages.

To audition please:
Sing a prepared song or aria (any style), or your voice part's line in a
portion of a standard, classical choral work.
Bring two copies of your music, one for yourself and one for the
accompanist.
Perform sight-singing of short musical excerpts.
Repeat back short melodies played on the piano.
