Oakland Public Conservatory of Music Private Lessons, Preparatory Program
The Preparatory Program is available to students ages 9-18. This program offers conservatory quality training complete with private lessons, master classes, keyboard and theory classes, ensembles and performance opportunities. Benefits of the program include access to instruments, academic support, and college preparation support. Participants in the Preparatory Program are required to complete 30 hours of community service yearly.

Northern California Music & Art Culture Center Chamber Music
The class operates in a professional, friendly, and fun environment with individualized approach to each student and input from both the conductor and players. Focus is on the essentials of ensemble playing, such as rhythm, pitch, sight-reading, group dynamics, blending with others, and polished performances. The musical arrangements for intermediate string orchestra expose the players to a variety of styles. Baroque, romantic, classical, pop and even twentieth century arrangements are read, rehearsed and performed with public performance opportunities available every semester.
Northern California Music & Art Culture Center Chorus
At our Chorus program, kids explore and develop essentials of group singing, different voical techniques, and learn songs from variety of cultures and genres. Regular performance opportunities provide students with a chance to show their work to publicity and share their vocal talents with others.
Northern California Music & Art Culture Center Voice class, piano class
Piano, voice, percussion, and guitar lessons are offered in Korean; group and private classical or jazz piano in Russian; and assistance with registration is provided to the Chinese-speaking population. Thanks to a grant, this chorus class and piano class are offered at reduced semester rates.
New Mozart School of Music Kids Sing Along
Kids Sing Along is no ordinary singing class. In addition to singing & vocal techniques, you'll learn: Specially choregraphed movements to songs; rhythm, balancing, resonating, & awareness; ear training & music theory (perfectly compliments any instrumental or voice lesson), and more fun techniques to bring out the empowered voice and creativity in your child!

Our violin instructors are experienced solo, chamber, and orchestral musicians and teachers. Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced violinist, our teachers can meet your learning needs.
