Candidate must have strong sight-reading abilities
Also capable of singing solo and small ensemble repertoire
Music degree or equivalent required

Calvary Presbyterian Church, San Francisco, California is seeking a new Tenor Section Leader/Soloist for the 50-voice Chancel Choir starting ASAP. The choir sings a broadly diverse range of music, encompassing the great sacred, classical liturgical repertoire along with jazz, gospel, folk, contemporary and secular arrangements. Calvary is looking for an experienced, adult professional singer who can provide positive leadership for our volunteer choir members as well as dynamic, diverse, engaging solo and ensemble singing. The position is for a full year, including summer.
The Peninsula Women's Chorus (PWC), based in Palo Alto, invites you to join our friendly and talented group of singers, led by Artistic Director Martín Benvenuto. The San Francisco Lyric Chorus invites singers to join us for our Summer 2018 Season, Song of the Universal. We will sing American composer John Corigliano’s Fern Hill, a setting of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas’ reminiscences of his childhood visit to his aunt’s farm, and his musings on his own life. Fern Hill is one of the most important American choral works of the 20th century. We also will sing two works by Eric Whitacre, one of America’s most popular contemporary composers: Five Hebrew Love Songs and This Marriage.

Andrea Fulton Productions will be auditioning singers Tuesday, May 29th and Wednesday, May 30th from 6:00-10:00 PM for the 2018 season of The Bracebridge Dinners at Yosemite, a series of lavish Tudor Yuletide Dinners held every year since 1927 at the Ahwahnee Hotel (now known as the Majestic Yosemite Hotel).
The BCCO Assistant Conductor serves as the primary artistic support staff to the Music Director, Ming Luke, in all rehearsals and concerts during the BCCO season. Appointed for a one-year position at a time for a maximum of three seasons, he or she will have had a minimum of three years of experience assisting or directing instrumental and/or vocal ensembles.

Chora Nova is a 40-60 voice mixed, auditioned chorus that rehearses and performs in Berkeley. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings. The chorus is in its 12th season, and has been conducted by Paul Flight since its inception. Spring 2018 repertoire is Baroque sacred music by Hasse and Zelenka. The spring concert is on May 26 (Memorial Day weekend). The chorus will be accompanied for this concert by a full professional Baroque orchestra and will be joined by professional soloists.
