Tenor and Bass section leader auditions

St. Luke’s Episcopal in San Francisco, CA is looking for a tenor and bass section leader to augment our 15-member Adult Choir. Qualifications for the position are excellent sight-reading skills, blending voice, experience in choral singing, and a cheerful attitude. Occasional solo opportunities exist as well. This position will begin in September, 2014. Thursday rehearsals 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Sunday warm-up and service 9:00-11:30 a.m. $55 per rehearsal and $55 per service. Maestro Bohlin is pleased to invite Bay Area singers to apply to perform Mozart’s Great Mass in c-minor at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, May 3, 2015.

SF to Carnegie offers a unique opportunity for singers from the many and diverse choruses of the San Francisco Bay Area to experience:

One performance on stage at Carnegie Hall, under the direction of Maestro Bohlin, accompanied by a professional orchestra and professional soloists.

Voci is seeking experienced choral singers in all voice parts.

Voci is a 24-voice, auditioned ensemble, which performs classical music from a wide variety of historical periods.
Celebrating 23 years of musical excellence, Voci is considered one of the finest singing groups in the Bay Area.

Voci champions music by and for women.

Voci rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00 PM in Orinda. Rehearsals begin Wednesday, August 20. Additional retreats and/or rehearsals are scheduled during the season.

Singers, especially Tenors and Altos: Chromatica Needs You!

Chromatica, a relatively new, dynamic and engaging chorale in the East Bay town of Danville, is seeking singers--especially Tenors and Altos--for our Fall concert season. Rehearsals are currently underway, but we will be taking a summer hiatus from mid-June until mid-August. Concerts are scheduled for 18, 19 and 24, 26 October 2014.
