San Jose and Silicon Valley

Voices of Silicon Valley, a community choral group is inviting prospective singers to join us for our 3rd season. We'll be working on 3 exciting programs this year:

1. The Many Faces Of Love
songs and arrangements from different periods, classical and pop: Billy Joel and Victoria, Girl from Ipanema and J.S.Bach

2. Missa Luba
a beloved arrangement of traditional Mass text infused with African rhythms and tunes

3. Stimmung by Karl-Heinz Stockhausen: a seminal work of 20th century avant-garde, stunningly beautiful yet rarely performed

Role is to be mid-20's so please look in that age range

The Symphony Silicon Valley Chorale, directed by Elena Sharkova, has become known in the Bay Area and beyond for its eclectic mix of concert programs: from choral-orchestral masterworks to contemporary, jazz, and folk-inspired compositions. As the chorus-in-residence for Symphony Silicon Valley, Chorale performs regularly with world-renowned vocal and instrumental soloists and conductors on stage of the historic California Theater in San Jose.
