Romantic Byways

Presented by Saratoga Symphony

Enjoy a FREE classical music orchestral concert with beautiful melodies and exciting rhythms!  Two of the music program pieces were composed in the 19th – 20th centuries and provide a range of musical periods.  The Dvorak Violin Concerto is a major concerto from the Romantic Music Period with violin soloist Bill Palmer. Stanford's Symphony #7 has hints of Brahms throughout the piece and is a not often heard gem! Bach's "All Glory, Laud and Honor" is a lovely transcription of a Chorale Prelude.  Conductor Dr. Jason Klein talks to the audience about each program piece before it is performed.  This adds context and understanding  to the pieces being played.

This is a Free concert open to all.  No ticket or reservation needed.  Donations are gratefully accepted!

Masks are recommended to attend concert.
