The Zivian-Tomkins Duo shares the stage with their beautiful fortepiano built in Berkeley in the 1980s by Janine Johnson and Paul Poletti. This instrument is a copy of a Dulcken (circa 1795) and makes the perfect pairing with early to middle Beethoven delights for cello and piano. The duo will perform a set of variations, a cello sonata, and solo piano sonata in this all-Beethoven program not to be missed.
