Hello! I’m currently offering one-on-one drum lessons in the Oakland/Berkeley area, and worldwide via live video calls.
I have taught music professionally for more than a decade, at my own private instruction studio, and as faculty in the Boston and San Francisco Bay areas. I have a B.A. with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston with an emphasis on drum set performance, and have performed worldwide in genres ranging from jazz to rock to Latin to classical to funk. I’m officially endorsed by Canopus Drums and Bosphorus Cymbals.
Ward Spangler
Ward Spangler is an active musician throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, performing diverse styles of music. He is Principal Percussionist with the Berkeley Symphony, Oakland East Bay Symphony, Fremont Symphony, and is a member of the Marin Symphony. Ward is also a member of the Cabrillo Music Festival of Contemporary Music, performing as Principal Percussionist with conductors Dennis Russell Davies, John Adams, and Marin Alsop. He has also performed with the San Francisco Symphony, California Symphony, and the Santa Rosa Symphony.

Christian Pepin

Thollem McDonas
Thollem McDonas is a pianist, composer, improviser and teacher. He travels perpetually internationally performing as a soloist as well as in collaboration with a wide array of artists in wildly divergent directions.
He resides in Pacifica, just south of San Francisco, during the summer months.
Omar Ledezma
Twice Grammy nominated Omar Ledezma Jr. was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. He has a Degree in Laws and a diploma from the esteemed Berklee College of Music in Boston. Omar is an active Bay Area performer both as a lead singer and percussionist. He has toured with renowned artists in UK, Europe, the Caribbean and South America and now leads his own family-oriented educational group, the Ka-Hon Ensemble.
