Carrie Jahde

Hello! I’m currently offering one-on-one drum lessons in the Oakland/Berkeley area, and worldwide via live video calls.

I have taught music professionally for more than a decade, at my own private instruction studio, and as faculty in the Boston and San Francisco Bay areas. I have a B.A. with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston with an emphasis on drum set performance, and have performed worldwide in genres ranging from jazz to rock to Latin to classical to funk. I’m officially endorsed by Canopus Drums and Bosphorus Cymbals.

I love working with students of all ages and abilities, and helping to build confidence in a fun and positive environment. The lessons are uniquely personalized for each student, with song play-alongs and all the essential elements of drumming, and take place conveniently in the comfort of your own home.
