Melody King has a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and Music in Education Concentration from New England Conservatory. Her performance experience includes: opera, musical theater, recitals, chamber music, and choral music. Featured as Sarastro on the 1987 Great Performances: Live From Lincoln Center telecast of New York City Opera'™s "Die Zauberflöte," and heard in 15 NPR broadcasts of his 30 San Francisco Opera roles, bass Gregory Stapp has garnered acclaim across the United States, in Europe, China, Mexico and Japan.

I have been an international opera singer for over 30 years, having spend 20 years at the Metropolitan Opera. My specialty ranges from Mozart and Strauss to chamber music and recitals.
Additionally I taught 6 years at Shepherd School Rice University, and 6 years at DePaul University. I also was on faculty at Aspen Music Festival and School for 5 years. I give master classes around the country and have guest taught at the Sf Opera Merola program and Castleton Festival.

Originally from Frankfurt, Soprano Antonia Tamer now makes her home in San Francisco where she recently completed a Masters in voice at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Catherine Cook.

I love to teach! I welcome all ages and levels. One of my greatest
pleasures is seeing a student fulfill their potential and experience the
joy and satifaction of singing well. Upon coming to Carmel 15 years
ago, I established my private voice studio in addition to teaching at
Hartnell College and Santa Catalina School. In Southern California I
was on the faculty at CSULA and Chaffey College teaching voice, music

challenging material, effective practice techniques, and a great deal of
fun, I push my students to help create their own musical paths. For
beginners, I equally emphasize fundamental pedagogy, music theory, and

Bruce Loeb is an experienced teacher and performer who offers piano lessons that develop musicianship, sight-reading and technique.

Learning how to produce a beautiful tone allows you to hear music better and to develop the ability to play with presence and a sense of being centered in your whole body.

I have been
teaching in the Bay Area for over a decade, and I also perform regularly
with Opera Santa Barbara's innovative education outreach program, The
Opera Lab. I perform locally and abroad -- I have sung in Spoleto,
Italy, for two summers and bring my expertise in Italian into lessons.
