The International Orange Chorale of San Francisco announces auditions on 8/13 and 8/14 in SF. IOCSF is an all-volunteer chamber choir devoted to performing a cappella repertoire of all periods, with attention to 20th and 21st century music. Audition Requirements:
Please bring an aria, art song or a short classical piece of your choice. If interested in a role in Dido and Aeneas, please bring a baroque aria of your choice.

Private auditions are held by appointment in a relaxed atmosphere and take only 15 minutes. Bring sheet music of a song you knjow well, accompanist provided. All vocal parts - men especially encouraged. Dr. Lynne Morrow, Music Director.
This ensemble is designed for trained musicians who seek a challenging, rewarding chamber choir experience that is also casual and flexible.
Audition will include vocalizing, pitch/rhythm/ear exercises, and sightsinging. Applicants should also come with one prepared solo piece; accompanist will be provided.
Audition consists of ear-training, sight-singing, and performance of a prepared solo piece.

Simple exercises determine placement. Singers must be able to sing in tune and have reasonable facility in high and low registers. No prepared solo is required. Amateurs are welcome. Practice CDs are issued to all singers, with diction tracks as well as part specific rehearsal music. For more information:

Those auditioning will be assessed on tone, blend, solo singing, sight reading and an ability to sing with others and commit to the Choral Society goals. Robert Geary is the artistic director.
