Here we are again near the festival of sparkling fireworks, outdoor indulgences and the myriad celebrations of the wondrous wide, wild wilderness that we call America the beautiful! My particular memories of this national holiday includes a rather unfortunate childhood attempt to hide under the bed with my beloved dog whose delicate ears were suffering deeply from the loud explosions of the neighborhood fireworks.
