
Russian--American concert pianist Alexander Yevgenyevich Kobrin (Александр Евгеневич Кобрин) is often referred to as the “Van Cliburn of today.” Kobrin will perform live in concert on Saturday, May 31, 2025, 7:30 p.m. And to meet the needs of a diverse community of patrons, Steinway Society also offers a recorded option to enjoy the concert on-demand for 48 hours.
Alexander Kobrin has been praised his brilliant techniques, musicality, his emotional engagement with the audience. Kobrin won the Gold medal at the 2005 Cliburn International Piano Competition, and has taken top prizes at the Busoni, Hamamatsu, and Scottish International Piano Competitions. He has performed with renowned orchestras and in major concert halls worldwide.
The program includes works of Beethoven, Brahms, and Chopin.
