Henry Webb plays Bach Nov. 8 in Healdsburg

Presented by St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Healdsburg

Henry Webb, a student in the master's program at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, plays a concert at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Healdsburg. The concert is presented as a gift to the public; there is no admission fee. Donations to the church's building-maintenance fund will be gratefully accepted. The concert is co-sponsored by the Redwood Empire Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

At this writing Webb is one of four finalists in the Concours International d'Orgue du Canada (the Canadian International Organ Competition) which will award prizes totaling $100,000 CAD at its conclusion on Oct. 27. Webb received his bachelor's degree in organ performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Diploma of Specialization from Johann Vexo at the Strasbourg Conservatory. Webb received second prize and the audience prize at the 2023 Ottumwa National Undergraduate Organ Competition.

The church is located at the corner of East and Matheson Streets, one block east of Healdsburg's downtown Plaza.
