An uplifting and reverential Christmas addition to St. Paul's "Second Sunday" concert series, featuring the church choir and Music Director Paul Blanchard playing the Bigelow pipe organ. Admission is free; donations accepted. This service was first performed in war-torn 1918 England, in the midst of the Spanish flu pandemic, to remind the public that war and pestilence were temporary while God's love is eternal. Enjoy the beauty of traditional English carols such as "I Saw Three Ships" and "Ding, Dong Merrily on High," as well as standards such as "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem." Be reminded of the reason for the season.
