St. Paul's Concert Series is excited to present Harpist Anna Maria Mendieta in a solo performance at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Saturday, March 14 at 7pm.
Anna Maria Mendieta is the principal harpist with the Sacramento Philharmonic; she has performed as a soloist and as a featured artist with many symphony orchestras and chamber music groups across the country. With many albums to her credit, Anna Maria has appeared in movies, on television, radio, the Emmy Awards, and has performed for Presidents Clinton, Gorbachev, and the King and Queen of Spain. She was honored to play for the Catholic World Youth Day events in Madrid, and at the Vatican for a special concert for Pope Benedict XVI.
St. Paul's welcomes Ms. Mendieta to its Concert Series, where she performs classical and romance music on the Concert Harp, and for a special St. Patrick's treat, she brings us a wee bit of Irish music on the Celtic harp.
Located in downtown Walnut Creek, the St. Paul’s Concert Series offers monthly world-class performances to the local community for an affordable, donation-based cost. Free parking is provided across the street on Trinity Avenue, or it's an easy walk three blocks from Walnut Creek BART. No admission tickets needed, free-will donations are accepted the door.
