Élodie Marchal, organist at St. Etienne Cathedral in Châlons-en-Champagne, France,  will perform a recital certain to get listeners of all ages in the spirit for All Hallows Eve.  The program will feature traditional repertoire and special arrangements of well-known and favorite movie themes.   Admission is free, with free-will donations to St. Monica/St. Thomas the Apostle parish accepted.  Don't miss this family friendly special event sure to appeal to music afficionados and casual listeners alike!

Élodie Marchal started piano lessons at age 5, and organ at 10.  She studied piano in the Reims Conservatory beginning in 1996, then organ and accompaniment with Pierre Méa in 1998.  In 2003, Elodie entered the “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique” of Paris to further her organ studies. For four years, she studied in the organ class of Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard, and apprenticed improvisation with Thierry Escaich, Philippe Lefevre, and others.  She accompanies several French choirs in local and touring performances.  She visits San Francisco with her husband and two daughters.
