The recent pandemic has affected us all in ways both large and small. And while we’ve learned to adapt to the new normal, we’ve also come to appreciate the things we took for granted – like attending live performances. But the music abides. And the beat goes on!
The Wind Symphony, conducted by Dr. Edward C. Harris kicks off the concert season in a thankful mood – and to show our thanks to everyone who supported us during our time off, we’re dishing up a FREE Holiday concert. Tickets are required for all audience members. however, THERE WILL BE NO TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. You can pick up a free ticket – and make an optional donation to SJWS – at sjws.org.
Come celebrate the spirit of the season with holiday favourites from Irving Berlin, Leroy Anderson, Victor Herbert and more. Other highlights include Alfred Reed’s Russian Christmas Music and a rollicking suite of themes from movie Polar Express.
