This class is open to all Baroque bass players (bassoons, gambas, sackbuts, cellos). Exercise your continuo bass line skills as we play sonatas by Jean-Daniel Braun (c. 1703-1738)! Anna will provide a recorded version of the bass line and top line to facilitate our online group playing and your practicing. We will also discuss other sonatas for bass instruments in this class during the question and answer period. Please study sonatas nos. 2, 5 and 6 from 1730 in the link from IMSLP here.
