Boismortier Suite in G minor — And You’re the Soloist! (A Baroque Jam Session)

Boismortier’s beautiful, user-friendly suite (originally for traverso) is a perfect little collection of accessible, playable French music that’s long on style and short on technical difficulty. We’ll talk about how to tailor the music to your own abilities and taste, and how to handle the ornaments, counterpoint and stylistic nuances… and then we’ll play, with your coach providing the bassline!
