Please join us for our second concert of the year! On tap is the resounding Symphony No. 4 in D Minor by Robert Shumann. Was it written in 1841 or 1851? Was it really his 4th…or was it his 1st!? And how the heck is Gustav Mahler involved in all of this?? Well, you will just have to come and find out!
And, the entrancing Persian soprano Raeeka Shehabi–Yaghmai returns for another performance with Prometheus! She is singing Les nuits d’été (Summer Nights) by Hector Berlioz, his intimate exploration of discovery, transience, grief and hope.
Concerts begin at 3pm, with a pre-concert talk by Music Director Eric Hansen at 2:40pm.
Tickets are required; they’re free, plentiful and just a few clicks away.
Masks are now optional but recommended inside the church; please bring proof of vaccination and ID. Our concerts are always family-friendly and accessible. Plan to arrive early for check in, especially as parking can be difficult. The concert is free; donations gratefully accepted.
