Piano four hands is a type of piano duet involving two players playing the same piano simultaneously. For this concert, Miles Graber and Amy Zanrosso will play PCA’s superb Steinway grand piano together, performing an assortment of pieces by six well-known Austrian, French, and German/Hungarian composers of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries: Ligeti, Brahms, Satie, Ravel, Dvořák, and Schubert. This is truly the essence of perfect collaboration — two people happily sharing the eighty-eight keys of a single piano to smoothly produce about seventy minutes of first-rate musical entertainment.
