A concert of origins, paths, and outgrowths from Baroque to modern: Beginning with a lone cello, becoming an ensemble of twelve. This is Parallax’s launch concert, set in St. Joseph's Arts Society's stunning cathedral space, celebrating the inceptions and surprising trajectories within life and within the vastness of the musical world.
This concert features a double-bill of Baroque works on historical instruments on the first half, modern works and a world premiere of Taylor Joshua Rankin's Gauze and Particulate on the second half.
