Join One Found Sound for Horizon, featuring awesome music, great company, and immersive visuals by filmmaker Max Savage. Horizon features the world premiere of Herbert Franklin Mells's Symphony No. 1 in D Minor, written in 1938. This landmark performance of his first symphony marks the launch of OFS’s five-year Herbert Franklin Mells Project, which includes the preparation, performance, and recording of Mells’s large symphonic works written between 1938 and 1944. One Found Sound performs in unexpected spaces where you are invited to sit closely and experience the music just as it inspires you. OFS always performs without a stage and without a conductor, and our live shows are filled with immersive visual experiences that add to the twists, turns, and surprises that the music has in store for you. Without the traditional barriers of the concert hall, we are able to share incredible music with you closely and personally. And don’t forget to stick around and say hi after our shows!
