NOONTIME CONCERTS AND THE NORCAL DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCE A SPECIAL CONCERT HONORING THE LEGACY OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

 Noontime Concerts & NorCal MLK Foundation have announced the launch of  MLK Celebration Week with a powerful concert dedicated to honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The concert takes place TUESDAY, JANUARY 14TH from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral, 660 California St., San Francisco.  (415-777-3211)

This unique partnership combines the NorcalMLK Foundation’s mission of advancing civil and human rights with Noontime Concerts commitment to making high-quality classical music accessible to all.  

Curated by famed pianist, Dr. Carl Blake who is also Music Director, this musical tribute features a world class group of artists:  Hope Briggs, Soprano; Joseph Edelberg, Violin; Daniel Glover, Piano;  Bradley Kynard, Baritone; William Underwood III, Flute and Carl Blake, Piano.  

The series will feature performances by accomplished classical musicians who use their artistry to evoke themes of peace, unity, and the ongoing pursuit of social progress. These midday concerts will be easily accessible to the public, echoing Dr. King’s message of inclusivity.
