Concert Program IV: Romantic Twilight
As the Romantic movement matured, music became more about art, nature, and experiences. The French rallied behind the sensuous music of their country, Russians told sad tales from their vast and cold land, and Bohemians mined the folk traditions of their countrymen. This concert features rich Romanticism and heartfelt nationalist works.
