In an unusual chamber ensemble this program presents rarely performed works that feature the lush sensual sound of the French Horn. American composer Eric Ewazen modeled his Trio after the iconic Horn Trio by Brahms. Up and coming and new to the Bay Area, Phillip Palmore joined the SF. Ballet Orchestra in the 2023-2024 season and also performs with the S.F. Symphony and S.F. Opera Orchestras. Adrienne Sengpiehl, a free lance musician performing throughout the Bay Area as a chamber musician and with the S.F. Opera Orchestra and S.F. Symphony. Adrienne and Ava are both longtime Artist in Residences at Ruth Asawa S.F. School of the Arts coaching strings, piano and chamber music.
