Les Talens Lyriques

Presented by Los Angeles Opera

One of France's most accomplished cultural institutions unveils a rich musical tradition.

The acclaimed Paris-based music ensemble Les Talens Lyriques is celebrated for performing treasures from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, breathing new life into some of Europe's most complex and brilliant classical music.

Under the masterful baton of conductor and founder Christophe Rousset, an intimate ensemble will take you to the Court of Versailles, with a concert of delightful music by French Baroque masters Jean-Baptiste Lully and François Couperin as well as the lesser-known Michel Lambert and Michel Pignolet de Montéclair. Don't miss this rare Los Angeles appearance in the acoustically delightful environment of The Colburn School’s Zipper Hall.
