The Eos Ensemble and renowned mezzo-soprano Laura Krumm, in collaboration with the Museo Italo Americano, is celebrating 100 years of San Francisco Opera with a program entitled “Arias and Instrumentals.” This event is part of the Museo’s exhibit entitled “Bravo, Celebrating San Francisco Opera, Its Italian Roots and Legacy."
Join us for a magical concert of familiar opera overtures and arias from Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Handel’s Xerxes, as well as sumptuous music for string quartet by Puccini, Verdi, Mascagni and the luminous “Il Tramonto” (“The Sunset”) for string quartet and mezzo-soprano by Respighi.
