Consort Chorale will present its 29th Annual Summer Concert on Sunday, August 11th at 4:00 p.m.(new time) at the First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo, 72 Kensington Road. A Concert for Compassion (Wholeness and Harmony) is the theme but if you think that means soft gentle music you would be mistaken. Our guest conductor is Dr. Brandon Boyd, and he promises to rock the house with some fabulous gospel music. As always, we will sing music from numerous eras, from the baroque to the present day, many pieces accompanied by string orchestra, others a cappella, and some with a gospel band. Music by Charpentier, Margaret Bond, Hagenberg, Gjeilo, Boyd, and many more will be presented. It promises to be a delightful afternoon you won’t want to miss.
