In 2007 this extravagantly gifted Japanese artist won the Gold Medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition. With her “warmly luxurious, buttery tone” (New York Times) she has collaborated with the likes of Rostropovich, Ashkenazy and Mehta and presents recitals in New York, Washington D.C., St. Petersburg, Warsaw and throughout Japan.
