Berkshire Choral International (BCI), a not-for-profit educational institution that provides singers with exhilarating professional-level choral experiences, makes a return appearance at Weill Hall, Green Music Center at Sonoma State University (1801 East Cotati Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA) on Saturday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m. Katherine FitzGibbon, Director of Choral Activities at Lewis and Clark College, conducts Vaughan Williams’ impassioned Dona Nobis Pacem (Grant Us Peace) and Damien Geter’s moving Cantata for a More Hopeful Tomorrow, inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic and its tragic impact on the African-American community. Composed during troubled times, the works in this program offer a universal vision for peace and renewal. The Santa Rosa Symphony joins BCI for this performance.
