Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents Music from Salzburg

Presented by Berkeley Baroque Strings

The Berkeley Baroque Strings presents works by Austrian composers Johann Joseph Fux, Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, and Johann Heinrich Schmelzer, as well as by composers Johann Rosenmuller and Antonio Vivaldi. Tenor Barrie Cowan and cellist Katrine Gray are featured soloists in Antonio Caldara’s Andante from “Apollo in Cielo.”

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, frequent leader of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and member of the New Esterhazy Quartet and Agave Baroque, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

The concert takes place at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd., Berkeley.

Admission is pay what you can.
