Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents Music from the Dresden Court

Join the Berkeley Baroque Strings as it opens its eleventh season by celebrating Dresden court music. Johann Sebastian Bach’s Violin Concerto in G Minor features orchestra member Paula White. The program also includes Jan Dismas Zelenka, Ouverture a 7, Georg Philipp Telemann, Concerto for 3 Violins in F Major, and Johann Georg Pisendel, Imitation des Caracteres de la Danse.

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, frequent leader of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and member of the New Esterhazy Quartet and Agave Baroque, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

The concert takes place at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd., Berkeley.
