Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents Italian Masters

The Berkeley Baroque Strings presents an evening with works by the Italian masters Antonio Vivaldi, Archangelo Corelli, Francesco Geminiani. and Antonio Brioschi. The program includes VIvaldi’s “L’inverno” (Winter) from the popular “Il Quattro Stagione” (Four Seasons) with violin soloist Stephen Grenholm. “La Folia” by Geminiani and Corelli’s “Concerto Grosso in B-flat” also feature members of the orchestra. Brioschi’s “Symphonia in G” rounds out the program.

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, frequent leader of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, member of the New Esterhazy Quartet and Agave Baroque, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

The Concert takes place at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 2300 Bancroft Way, Berkeley 94704.

Masks and proof of vaccination are required.
