Peggy Spear is a longtime Bay Area writer and editor, and has worked for such publications as Bay Area Parent Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, Bay Area News Group, Diablo, Walnut Creek Magazine, Patch, and Sunset. She lives with her husband, daughter, and two sons in Walnut Creek, where someone is always singing.
