Cantare Chorale Auditions: Join Us for Our 30th Anniversary Season!
Those auditioning will be asked to vocalize, sing a brief solo of their choosing (aria, art or folk song, show tune, etc.) and sight-read choral selections provided. Auditions are by appointment with Artistic Director, David Morales. Chorale rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons in Oakland, and occasionally on Tuesday evenings in Lafayette. Audition for Fall 2016 Season (our 25th!)
Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble, directed by Dr. Anne Hege, will be holding auditions for experienced choral singers in all voice parts through Sept. 15.
Voci rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00 PM in Orinda.
Rehearsals begin Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Fall concert dates are November 12 and 20.
New singers welcome
Chora Nova continues its 11th season with rehearsals for the winter quarter beginning January 10. Repertoire for the quarter is Dvorak Mass in D Major and Rheinberger Stabat Mater in C Minor, Op. 16.
