The Magnolia Piano Duo

Bay Area pianists Lauren Cony and Jennifer Peringer have been delighting audiences with their piano duet and two piano programs for over twenty years. Lauren and Jennifer met in the late 1990s, via the SF Community Music Center, where they are both on faculty.  They have performed in the CMC annual keyboard marathons, as well as at the SF Conservatory of Music, numerous house recitals, and venues outside the bay area.  In recent years, Lauren and Jennifer have created thoughtfully curated programs that include more women composers.  Their upcoming performance in May of 2022 includes three women composers: Chicago-based Dolores White, Parisian (and member of Les Six) Germaine Tailleferre, and Bay Area composer Gabriela Lena Frank.
