What they do best:

OPERA NEWS aptly praised Courtney Miller’s “fluent musicality.”  Known for her “captivating stage presence” and “excellent sense of comic timing,” Courtney excels across genres.  Courtney is a curator of programs that tell compelling stories through song, movement, and art.  Courtney’s art song cabaret Tell me the Truth about Love, with collaborator Kevin Korth, performs around the Bay Area.  During the 2023-24 season, Courtney was an Artist-in-Residence at Opera San José. In the 2022-23 season, she made her San Francisco Opera debut as Sister St. Charles in DIALOGUES OF THE CARMELITES and returns in 2024 as Warren’s Wife in THE HANDMAID’S TALE.  Also in the 2024-25 season, she debuts with the San Francisco Choral Society as the alto soloist and Mendelssohn’s ELIJAH, and as the alto soloist in Beethoven’s 9TH SYMPHONY with the Sonoma County Philharmonic.  Career highlights include Mercédès in CARMEN with Florida Grand Opera; Hannah in THE PASSENGER with Detroit Opera; Meg in LITTLE WOMEN with Madison Opera; Cherubino in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO with Opera Saratoga, and performing the title role of Carmen aboard Azamara Club Cruises.  www.courtneyallycemiller.com @mezzomiller
