Community School of Music and Arts Private Lessons
CSMA's multi-lingual faculty of more than 75 instructors with national and international credentials is ready to help students experience the joy of music. Private instruction for all ages is offered year round for beginning, intermediate and advanced students. At weekly lessons students study with an instructor selected to complement a student's individual learning style. CSMA offers private lessons of 30, 45 or 60 minutes in classical, jazz, popular and world music styles. Partner lessons may also be available for beginning level students.

Community School of Music and Arts Instrumental Ensembles
Learn to play music together! Beginning and intermediate ensembles for strings, wind, brass, percussion. Beginning Level Prereq: 1-2 yrs of private instruction; no prior ensemble experience required. Intermediate Level Prereq: 3-4 yrs of private instruction; 1 yr of ensemble training. Leads to youth orchestra, band, jazz combos, chamber music. Pianists may join as opportunities arise.
Community School of Music and Arts Peninsula Children's Chorale
Have fun in this performance-based resident children’s chorale singing music in a variety of genres. Includes vocal warmups, posture & presentation, musicianship, sight reading, memorization, some choreography. Final performance at end of semester. No prior experience needed.
