I am the Education Director at MoonSchool, the educational arm of 42nd Street Moon Theatre Company. We have a range of classes available for both private students and ensembles. I teach private voice lessons along with Moon's resident MD, Dave Dobrusky. The emphasis of our lessons tend to be focused on audition material, singing for pleasure/practice and preparation for events.
MoonSchool is in its second year. We offer classes in musical theatre for ages 8-88. We offer a fall, winter and spring session. Each session is 9 weeks and ends with a recital. Summer camp is for students ages 8-18 and we do a full production plus create the sets and costumes.
The advantage to studying at MoonSchool is the obvious connection to the professional company, perks like free tickets and master classes, excellent training in the heart of SF and a supportive and caring faculty.
