The Bay Area has been an American innovation hub for decades. The Young Women’s Chorus program “Unicorns” shines a light on this innovation, with treble chorus music from local composer Eric Tuan, a world premiere by Chicago-based composer Stacy Garrop honoring YWCP founder Susan McMane, a new work by beloved Ukrainian composer Iryna Aleksiychuk (now living in exile), and works by other living composers from around the world. Join us at San Francisco Conservatory’s new Bowes Center, an architectural award-winning music center with unparalleled views of San Francisco Civic Center landmarks.
