Volti Sings New Music

Presented by Volti

Volti in front of Grace Cathedral, June 2023, after singing at the Chorus America annual conference.

The professional vocal ensemble Volti opens its 45th season of "singing without a net" with a concert of beautiful and groundbreaking contemporary music by a wonderfully diverse group of composers. Robert Geary conducts. Join us for an evening of music you've never heard, that you'll never forget!

Six contemporary composers set texts from the great Portuguese 20th-Century poet Fernando Pessoa, former US Poet Laureate Billy Collins, Bay Area poet Jane Hirshfield, and more.

Volti is a proud participant in California Festival 2023, A Celebration of New Music created by the LA Phil, San Francisco Symphony, and San Diego Symphony and including more than 50 organizations from across the state.
