Four unique, live sessions focusing on choral masterworks.
Each 75-minute session crafted by a renowned Bay Area choral director:
June 3: Fauré Requiem with Dr. Lynne Morrow, Director of the Oakland Symphony Chorus
June 10: The African American Spiritual with Andrew Brown, of Pacific Boychoir Academy
June 17: The Brahms Requiem with Bob Geary, Director of Volti and San Francisco Choral Society
June 24: Ramírez’ Misa Criolla with Martín Benvenuto, of Peninsula Women’s Chorus
The sessions will present compositional insights, points of interest, and interactive discussion, and feature listening tracks from VCS performances. The sessions will be presented online via Zoom. All start at 7 PM.
