The ensemble of two pianists and two percussionists will premiere "Hinterland" by associate professor of teaching Sam Nichols, and play a new arrangement of Billy the Kid by Aaron Copland and recent works by German composer Charlotte Seither and Cuban-American composer Orlando Jacinto Garcia. Founded in 2008 the ensemble has commissioned over 50 works and premiered over 50 works as well. The concert will also be live streamed for free on the UC Davis Music Department YouTube channel.
