Join the UC Alumni Chorus as we revel in the restorative power of nature with songs of earth, water, and fresh air. We will bring you music from the serene to the compelling, from the ancient to the present, from the familiar to the fresh. Our concert will feature favorite gems by composers such as Palestrina, Barber, and Copland, as well as works by living composers Whitacre, Gjeilo, Stroope, Ticheli, and Gibbs. We are excited to bring you beautiful music by several women composers, including Fanny Hensel, Karin Rehnqvist, Giselle Wyers, Jocelyn Hagen, and Sally McCune. Featuring pianist Paul McCurdy and conducted by Rebecca Seeman, this concert has something for everyone.
Audience needs to bring proof of vaccination and masks will be required.
