Cellist, VICTORIA EHRLICH, was born in Texas and received her musical education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She also attended summer programs at Interlochen, Aspen, and Tanglewood. Her teachers include Robert Marsh, Bernard Greenhouse, and Robert Gardner.

Before joining the San Francisco Opera Orchestra in 1984, she performed with Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, and served as Principal Cellist with the symphonies of Omaha, Richmond, VA, and Phoenix. Ms. Ehrlich has performed with San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Symphony, California and Berkeley Symphonies, Lamplighters, and the Russian Chamber Orchestra. She’s also an active chamber musician, appearing regularly with the percussion group Adesso, the Gold Coast Chamber Players, Picasso Ensemble, the Fath Chamber Players and the Ariel String Quartet. Recent work includes collaboration with poets and composers under the auspices of the American Composers' Forum.

In addition to his role as violist with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, PAUL EHRLICH plays regularly with the San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Symphony, and is also a frequent chamber music performer in the Bay Area. Previous positions have included The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Phoenix Symphony. Mr. Ehrlich received his undergraduate training at The Royal College of Music, London, and Cambridge University, and completed the D.M.A. degree at The Yale School of Music, where he studied with Raphael Hillyer.

DAN FLANAGAN currently serves as Concertmaster of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Concertmaster of the Modesto Symphony, Concertmaster of West Edge Opera, and Instructor of Violin at University of California, Berkeley. Described as a “stellar musician” (Nevada Reviews), he has been praised for his “exquisite tone” and “forthright brio” (Sacramento Bee).

A dedicated orchestral player, Flanagan has performed as concertmaster with the Oakland Symphony, the California Symphony, California Musical Theater, the Festival Opera of Walnut Creek, Symphony Silicon Valley, Opera Parallele, and Symphony Napa Valley. He performs regularly with the San Francisco Opera and Ballet and records film and television soundtracks with the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra. Frequently featured as soloist with the Sacramento Philharmonic and Modesto Symphony, Flanagan has also performed with the American River Chamber Orchestra, Bear Valley Symphony, Reno Baroque Ensemble, UC Davis Symphony, and the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra.

As a chamber musician, Flanagan has performed with the Chamber Music Society of Sacramento, the Oregon Bach Festival, Earplay, Melody of China, Midsummer Mozart Chamber Players, Gold Coast Chamber Players, and has collaborated with pianists Leon Fleisher and Jon Nakamatsu. A founding member of the Farallon Quintet, with whom he has performed throughout Northern California, he has commissioned and premiered numerous works, several of which can be heard on their CD, “Farallon Quintet Originals.” As a member of the Eco Ensemble, he performs regularly at Cal Performances, performed at La Biennale in Venice, Italy, and was recently featured in Strings Magazine.

MILES GRABER received his musical training at the Juilliard School. He has performed with numerous artists, including Sarah Chang, Cho-Liang Lin, Camilla Wicks, Axel Strauss, Mimi Stillman, Paula Robison, Zuill Bailey, Judith LeClair, and Frederica von Stade. Mr. Graber has been associated with such organizations as New Century Chamber Orchestra, Midsummer Mozart, Oakland Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony, Oakland Lyric Opera, Berkeley Opera, Opera San Jose, and California Symphony. His accompanying posts include the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, the San Domenico Conservatory, the Irving M. Klein International String Competition, the Summer Brass Institute, the Mondavi Young Artist Competition, and Northern California Flute Camp. He is a member of the Alcyone Ensemble, MusicAEterna, the Graham-Graber-Rose Trio, the Sor Ensemble, the Mira Trio, and the new music group Sounds New.
