Greetings Opera Cocktales fans, friends and family!
March and its very Mad Hare have arrived to entice the citizens of our fair city!
(Though I do wonder if the perpetual teatime proposed in Alice's Wonderland
could have survived our inclement weather and topsy-turvy, wild wonky news cycle as of late!)
What we do know is that the poor Hare feels compelled to behave as though it is always tea-time
because the Hatter supposedly "murdered the time" whilst SINGING for the Queen of Hearts.
Hmmm....It is true that singers often portray characters on either side of that tilting mental whirlwind -
victim or perpetrator of those crazy mad or getting there from love, grief, greed
or the most dangerous insanity of all - POWER-LUST...
I'm sure we can all name a few of those unavoidable personalities in our current life, can't we?
