"Second Sunday" Jazz Concert in Healdsburg

Presented by St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Healdsburg

Saxophonist Jonathan Bautista

St. Paul's "Second Sunday" concerts take a thoroughly modern turn with jazz saxophonist Jonathan Bautista joining pipe-organist Andrew Chislett in improvisations on the compositions of modern jazz greats Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington and others. The public is welcome, and there is no admission fee. The concert will be streamed live and available later on the church's YouTube channel. Bautista is a Bay Area saxophonist, composer and educator who has played with James Wiliams, Pete Escovedo and John Santos. Bautista attended the San Francisco School of the Arts and San Jose State University, doing his graduate work at the Manhattan School of Music. He also plays classical music with the San Jose Symphony and the Monterey Bay Symphony. Chislett is the Director of Music and Organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto.
